A tenement house is a home with 18 families with five homes and only three rooms. This is where immigrants lived as a place to stay.

More and more people bagan to migrant which overpopulated the city. This causing the government to squeeze these immigrants together to make more room for others. So the created the tenements as a home to group the immigrants together.
c. What is life like for new immigrants in the early 1900's? What is life like in tenement housing?
Life is hard because they have to find a place to stay and once they find a suitable job it gives them wages that aren't enough for a person who is raising their family. Life in the tenement housing is the same, you must buy a stove first if you even want to survive during cold times. A good warm place where you can cook your food and clean clothes is a major necessasity. Most children can't go to school because they need to help their parents work to earn money.
d. What potential obstacles can you forsee for recently arrived immigrants in the early 1900s?
They must locate a place to stay even if it isn't a suitable home they need to have somewhere to live or something to live in. They have to find jobs to pay for food and maybe even medical needs the family has. Now that they have migrated they have to start a whole new life in a new world.

There is a huge outbreak/problem about the smuggling of immigrants to different countries. Officials are either trying to capture these immigrants or taking in the smugglers that the find. These smugglers use special vechicles and secret routes to make sure that the immigrants can get to where they need to be. A group called the ICE say these smugglers aren't any harm but they still produce a crime. There have even been in some sitiuations where these immigrants are killing people perhaps about 10,000 a year.
